A Gem of a Book About a Gem in the Chesapeake

This little book is packed with what seems to be reliable information about Tangier, Va., an island in the Chesapeake Bay. If you are considering going there, this book is a must read. If you have been there and are wondering about the place or the people or their special dialect, this book will inform you. As a native Tangieman who left many decades ago as a child, I am especially impressed with this author's ability to extract from a relatively short trip or two there the essence of unique place.
